johnph3
Need help in trouble shooting 32K memory card. It has correct power and ground to all chips and appears to function until it auto loads program from disk then when you try to run it it it gives an error message, when you list the line number data is garbled or missing. Ed in SoDak
That might be caused by trying an Extended BASIC (XB) program using Console BASIC, which cannot handle multi-statement program lines and won't understand XB commands not present in the console's limited BASIC. For help with that or hardware problems, post it to the TI99/4A subforum: https://atariage.com/forums/forum/164-ti-994a-computers/ Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/336866-ti-994a-32k-memory-card/#findComment-5074009 Share on other sites
johnph3
Well if I didn't have extended basic cartridge in then it wouldn't auto-load? I'n thinking it might be a buffer chip or something. What I need is a flow chart to follow to trouble shoot it. Good luck huh? Indeed if there is a LOAD program, that proves XB would be used to run it.
