Djmicklovin
Is there a chance we could get some of the older Dragon Ball Z games published by Atari on the VCS? In 1999, Atari acquired the rights to Dragon Ball Z from Funimation. Dragon Ball Z was making Atari big money at the time, but a dispute in 2007 ended with Atari having to pay $3.5 million to Funimation. In 2009, Namco Bandai obtained exclusive rights to the IP for a period of five years after Atari's licensing rights expired at the end of January 2010. So the five years have passed... Do they still own the rights to exclusivity? Bandai owns the rights to the Digimon games as well.
bugcatcher88
Bandai Namco has exclusive video game rights to the Dragon Ball franchise (in North America and Europe, at least). They will have to get on board to release any legacy software. IMO, I don't see that happening.
+swlovinist
The probability is no.
