Or you could simply use a Windows VM or WINE under MacOS with almost no performance hit. VirtualBox is free, Parallels is better. You can even use the USB passthrough support if you want. Atari800MacX is a fine emulator as well with a good disk editor built in and WUDSDN will run natively. SIO2OSX is also great for peripheral and transferring files to Atari. You just need the FTDI serial drivers. You can even run the ARM version of Winblows or Linux in a VM on the recent ARM Macs if you have the cash for one. WINE/Crossover works well on Intel. Mark Simonson
Thanks for the suggestions. I might just try some of those ideas.
+Philsan
@Justin Payne I experienced bugs with previous versions. I quickly tested new version (with W10 64) and I was able to save and load a .mic image.

This file is empty (00 00 00 00 00 00 ...) Did you have more windows open with graphics or just one window ? Did you use the ctrl+s (save) shortcut or did you select 'save ass...' +Philsan
Just one window open and Save as, then Save (or disk icon).

I selected the "Save ass" because when I loaded it back up, "ass" is what I got. 🤣 Edited August 20, 2022 by Justin Payne
OxC0FFEE
@Mark Simonson you might be interested to hear that there's an attempt to make an IDE (using VS code) for fastbasic, and that has mac compatibility. I just got it working on my M1 Macbook Pro and successfully compiling the starter project! https://github.com/EricCarrGH/fastbasic-starterproject hat tip to @Savetz et al at ANTIC Podcast for their latest ep in which they mentioned this. Maybe now I can get back in the tenliner game.
Mark Simonson
@OxC0FFEE Ooh, thanks. I did hear them talking about it on the podcast, but forgot. I'll try that when I get a chance.
