Calab
I have a flat C128. I recently burned an EPROM with a copy of Diskmaster v3.27 on it and installed it into U36 on my C128. It did work the first couple of times I tried it out. Holding CONTROL when turning on the machine should start Diskmaster in 40 column mode. For some reason, when I hold CONTROL, the machine just boots to C128 mode like the EPROM wasn't there. The CONTROL key works when I'm typing at the command line. I've pulled the EPROM and verified that the data is not corrupted. Is there any reason that Diskmaster wouldn't start when holding CONTROL? Calab
So I programmed the same EPROM with the same data, twice over (no erasing). It verified fine each time, so I installed back into the C128 and now it works. I guess I had some weak bits on the chip.
