Yosikuma
So I have decided to start taking the plunge in game creation on the Intellivision in IntyBasic, and my question is: are there any editors that aid in graphic creation? In particular I'm looking at doing cards for stacked MOBs, and I'm not sure an editor exists. Maybe I'm wrong?

For graphics, you can use "IntyColor," a command-line tool that comes with the compiler. It takes a BMP image file, which you can make MS Paint, or Paint.Net, or any other graphics package, and convert into card data. -dZ.

I use photoshop, but any paint program that has layers. You either draw an 8x8 grid on a single layer or zoom in enough to see the pixel grid. mmarrero
I use MS Paint, and the utility I posted a while ago (MarcoFont) that converts a contiguous grid of 8x8 cards to IntyBasic code. Here's a portion from Princess Lydie, the top grid are the cards used, below is research area. The enemies were tricky, overlapping/offset to make them look different using the same eye. Lydie only has 2 dresses. Fireball animation is flip x and y.

Just use a graphics package with layers, like Paint.Net or Pixelmator. However, you will have to separate the layers into individual bitmaps, or flatten then laterally in order to convert it into data. 10 hours ago, Brian's Man Cave said: I use photoshop, but any paint program that has layers. mmarrero
I think one limitation is that it can't reload the same file.
