Rick Dangerous
Who's got a homebrew for me to add to this round? All I need is a Rom posted (or link to a thread with a post number mentioned) and a method of play suggested and we can get that going for game #2! @jgkspsx help me out you had a number of good suggestions in the "what to play" thread! Rick Dangerous
I gave Biathlon a whirl today and found it pretty frustrating for HSC type "pick up and play" gameplay....it's like a lengthy simulation. Without a manual, for many who don't own it, it would be impossible to even figure out how to play it. I'm sure it's an awesome game (i do own) but we really need something quick and fun and without a steep learning curve for HSC purposes. I'm going to give @jgkspsx a few days to respond with one of the many NEW home-brews he mentioned; or you can suggest another in the vein above @jeremiahjt, and if not; i'm going to post something simple and accessible for everyone like T-Tris or Centipede, Sky raiders, etc.

I do not think that is overly long, but I might be in the minority.
JagChris
Well at least I finished this time
Rick Dangerous
Alright @jeremiahjt since no one else is leaping forward with any suggestions; Alpine Games: Biathlon it is! I was just button mashing and not doing so hot...lol. Took a picture of the controls from the manual for all to use: Edited July 21, 2022 by Rick Dangerous

JagChris
I keep trying and keep coming up short. I've tried having my friend help me.(who is now addicted to the game) I even tried playing Shanghai while listening to brain.fm. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NGNqNHqH9Nw I rarely get the satisfaction of a finished game and nowhere near a 6 minute game but I'll keep plugging away. Also not much for staying just on the Bear form. What she is interested in is the Lynx version. She's downloaded two versions for her iPad but seems to prefer the Lynx version. I don't know why. The new versions are fancy as can be. I'm now having intermittent contact with my Lynx. I'll get back to this when circumstances allow. ?
