It’s great to see this game developer get behind the Atari VCS and show it some support. I’m looking forward to adding the 10 new games to my VCS game library when they each launch over time. I get the feeling the VCS might be launching outside the US finally to, game developer said new Atari console launching in the video?.

He also did a video about why devs should consider releasing on niche platforms like the VCS. Includes footage of Meganoid and Gunslugs on the VCS.

This is pretty awesome. I did a little digging around the games that Orange Pixel released on other platforms, and a few seem really interesting. It's very cool to see developers saying that they will support the VCS with ports in the future. Here's hoping we get all 10 of these new games.

I see Meganoid is now up on the Atari store! Just picked it up it’s been a while since we’ve had a new release so I’m looking forward to sitting down and playing this over weekend.

Thanks for the new review @Mockduck. I'm always impressed how quickly you turnout these short, but really well made and informative videos.

 

I've only played this for a few minutes, but I'm a fan so far. I can see sinking a decent amount of time into this one. Hopefully it's a sign of good things to come from Orange Pixel.

The game definitely can get its hooks in you to try to get further than you did last time.

Can someone try and run this in 1280x720 please?
I'm having some problems with this game, ie. resolution scaling and freezes.
