Can you take a look at all the options on this page and make sure you have email notifications enabled?

There is a link near the bottom of the page, "Stop all email notifications" that would disable your email notifications if you accidentally clicked on it at some point.

I sent you an email directly, but the emails from the forum are coming from a different server.  I may need to open up a ticket with Invision so they can investigate why you are not receiving notification emails.  Given my experience with Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, and other such large email services, it would not be surprising to me at all if they are eating them for some reason.

Hi Albert  having trouble resubscribing to Atariage.   I get to the payment screen and I get this error...

That's quite the assumption to make.  :)

 

I am just super super busy right now building well over a thousand games so I can get caught up on orders, so that is eating up most of my time.  No slight was intended, I'll respond to your PM later today and we can try to work out why you are receiving that error.

I'm going to say rather than assumption it is more speculation.  This was based on lack of response of other pm's sent in probably the last half year, notice sent from the subscription problem around Thursday/Friday, the the PM and notice in this thread sent Friday.

 

I don't expect an answer to every PM, and my requests have been more and more sporatic over time as you've gotten more busy over time.   Being how that's gotten to be the case I was hestitant to resubscribe for another two year subscription.   But the forum remains interesting and fun, on a product/business level, not bad.  So I decided to re-up.

 

And that is when the subscription web entry had its problems.   At that point I was not trying to ask for anything special, simply trying to purchase something, and despite what I'd tried, no response was being given to the action of trying to buy something with money and be a customer.

 

 

Thanks for the help at this point, but I wanted to explain I had a lot more to go on than just "assumption" and not a statement I made lightly.

Based on what you wrote in your latest PM to me, PayPal is supposed to open after you click the "Place Order And Pay" button, and that is not happening in your case.  It's possible this behavior is being blocked by your browser or an extension installed in your browser, specifically to prevent a website from opening another website.  This is the first time I've heard of this, so whatever is happening here is not common. Hopefully it has an easy resolution.
