Yes, I actually just found it. The other problem was my fault too; only the unread posts were displayed.

It's actually still there, I mentioned it earlier, but the line is now blue so difficult to notice.

Thanks @roots.genoa just had a look and found it, but as you say it's not so easy to see, hopefully

Albert can get the colour changed or make it a bit thicker so easier to see.

Some feedback:

  • AtariAge is moving into the future! I appreciate all of the work!
  • I didn't realize I could edit posts anymore, and I think this could generate some support problems, and I've already posted a few things thinking that the ability to edit was gone, but it looks cleaner.
  • Getting the colors, fonts, and look-and-feel closer to what it was for each supported platform would be good, but I know this is a lot of work. The white background is a little too bright for me. The changes to spacing/fonts make it feel less tight than it was before, which makes me feel a little lost and less able to read things quickly.
  • I miss seeing the titles under the profile instead of just seeing "Members". But, on the good side, the new version is a throwback to the 80s "Members Only" brand!
  • I'm old and set in my ways. I embrace the fact that the world is changing and want to love and support others, but part of me feels slightly like Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer- frightened and confused. I'll get over it, though!

It will be orange again soon. :)

I'm going to try and have that Edit button moved back next to the Quote button, I don't like at all that it's been moved into a menu.  Same with the "Report Post" link.

I can always change the background for those boxes to a light gray, but I want to see how I like how it is now for a few days first.  If you think the spacing/fonts make it less tight than it was, you should see the default theme where this is MUCH more the case.  Which I don't necessarily mind, but they've definitely gone in the direction of adding a lot more white space.

This can all be adjusted, and I've already asked the designer to make some changes here.

These changes overall are relatively minor compared to some past upgrades.  It was a lot more fun when we changed forum software a few times back in the early days!

@Albert I just noticed that the the mail notifications (unlike with the previous forum version) seem to be flooded with tracking pixels. Each red dot (15!) is detected as a tracking pixel by my Android mail app (FairEmail).

I don't think these are "tracking" pixels, but just graphics to help with the spacing.  The "AtariAge Forums" header is already a graphic, and there would be no need to all to have so many tracking images if that's what they were used for.  I looked at the source, and these are named "spacer.png":

<img src="https://forums.atariage.com/applications/core/interface/email/spacer.png" width="1" height="1" alt="">

And this is nothing new, this same spacer.png image has been in emails from the forum for years, so this doesn't represent a change at all.

Thanks! Just a heads up... font size increased when *in* a thread, but still small when browsing:

Yes, this will be fixed for the search results as you're displaying in your image.  Was on the list of items I sent to the theme designer yesterday.  :)

Just figured out how to edit. ha  Anyway... noticed yesterday that I was "banned" from certain topics (as shown above), though I wasn't banned or even logged in. 🤣

That is interesting, I'll need to look into that.  Might be a bug in the updated "Ban from Topic" plugin I installed yesterday.

Hm, I cannot find any of these spacers in the old notifications. Anyway, they are detected as tracking pixel and corrupt the message display. Maybe I find a way to tell the app to fully trust AtariAge. But then I also get a warning that the reply domain differs from the sender's domain. Might become difficult.

The same images are definitely in the older notifications, I took a look.  Yeah, I'm not crazy about the reply domain being different than the sender's domain, I did ask Invision if that can be changed. Probably not unless I use my own SMTP server or a third-party SMTP service, which I may look into, but a third-party service may be expensive given the sheer volume of emails the forum sends out.

Maybe already reported but some of my emojis in pre-upgraded messages have been turned into a question mark. Example. A ‘thumbs up’ emoji is now a ‘?’ character post-upgrade.   I notice it in old messages.

I've had this happen a few times - I'll click to react to a post and get an error, then when I refresh the page I get a 403 error from cloudfront saying there may be too much traffic.  It usually lasts less than a minute.  Has anybody else had this happen?

Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread, so I don't know if this is already reported:

I received an email notification twice for the same post in a thread I follow. I came to that post and it was edited just after it was posted. The problem is that both emails contain the same original post, no updates on the second one!

Yes, this is something I need to report to Invision.  If you can link to some examples you've seen, that would be helpful, as they will surely want to see some examples.  You can get a link to a specific post by clicking the "..." button in the upper-right corner of a post and then choosing "Share" from the menu.

Thank you,
