Lauren Tyler
I just picked up Midnight Magic again, since the previous one I had was PAL. Hopefully I'll fare better this time. The other two, it's Stella for me!
+Atari_Warlord
Off the Wall (Peasant) = 5,040 Midnight Magic 1A one ball = 82,085 Mr. Do! = 29,100 Love the crazy story in the Off the Wall manual, although the game play is lacking. It needed to be a paddle game.

Lauren Tyler
Off The Wall: 1,494 (I agree, this needs to be a paddle game.) Midnight Magic (1/A One Ball Only): 5,495 (Might boot up my Sears Tele-Games Arcade to see if my latest cartridge is NTSC.) Mr. Do!: 10,700 (This was a fairly decent port given the limitations. What I don't get is why Coleco handled Mr. Do!, but Parker Bros. handled Mr. Do's Castle.)

Absalon
By the way.. The german translation of the manual is quite funny. "First, use the arrow to shoot the targets" 😅🤣

Deteacher
Midnight Magic: 58,220. It's like playing pinball on the moon! Just realized that my score, posted above does not say "ball 2" on it, so you can disregard that one and use this score: 58,165. It's pretty much the same thing. Rickster8
Midnight Magic: After about a hundred resets I got this score. Got the extra ball, game went all nutsy in an array of blue colors. Was pretty cool..... Off The Wall: Is a little crazy, not quite sure what's going on, but I was just trying to keep the ball in play for the most part. Mr. Do: No clue what's going on here. Tried to shoot the nasties and when I couldn't do that I was dropping pumpkins on them? 🤷♂️ Tonight was the first time I ever played all three.... 👍🍺 Midnight Magic (1/A One Ball Only): 48,990 POINTS!!! Off The Wall (1/B): 2,470 POINTS!!! Mr. Do (1/B): 12,050 POINTS!!! Edited August 27, 2022 by Rickster8 Added in more scores.

Lauren Tyler
Off The Wall: 2,702 Midnight Magic 1/A: 89,315 (I did REALLY well, managed to get a 3x bonus before losing my bonus ball.) Mr. Do!: 12,800 (Not much in terms of improvement. I gotta read up on strategies.)
Deteacher
Midnight Magic: 186,185! Scored 2 extra balls and got the multiplier up to 3x! I think that's the best I'm going to be able to do...it's just too frustrating to get a good ball going.
+jgkspsx
I just picked up a Mr. Do cartridge! Great timing! I don’t remember if I have Midnight Magic or Off the Wall where I will be tonight, but I do have a Concerto cartridge…

Skippy B. Coyote
Starting off this round with Midnight Magic, which is a game that definitely has a spot on my top 10 personal favorite Atari 2600 games list! Even having to press reset dozens of times over for the Lance Armstrong challenge I still love this game, and the potential to earn bonus balls to keep playing before reaching ball two is going to keep me coming back to it until either the round ends or my reset switch breaks; whichever happens first Midnight Magic (Game 1, A/A Difficulty, 1 Ball Challenge): 142,085

Skippy B. Coyote
To me Mr. Do! always felt like the developers who created it were sitting around one day and thought, "Ya know, Dig Dug is a really great game but it's just too much fun to play. Is there some way we could take Dig Dug and make it infuriatingly frustrating instead of fun?" And thus Mr. Do! was born. Though, I have to admit that after playing it for the past hour for the HSC it's kinda starting to grow on me. It's still really frustrating, but I'm starting to appreciate it's strategic elements. Who knows, by the end of the round I might actually like it Mr Do! (Game 1, B/B Difficulty): 33,950
DrMooCowz
First crack at these games: Midnight Magic (1 ball challenge) : 48650 - I remember getting this one at a Big Lots for $1 several years ago! Mr. Do : 17450 - I'd rather be playing Dig Dug. Off the Wall : 13802 - This one grew on me! The magnet ball power up seems overpowered!

+jgkspsx
I played Mr Do on difficulty A and then realized the challenge was for B. I didn’t notice any difficulty change whatsoever and I don’t see anything in the manual about difficulty switches. Does anybody know what it affects? It seems the game select is what matters. I got to a better score on difficulty B than I had gotten on A anyway. 20850. It feels a lot more random than I remember Mr Do being in other versions, but it is fun. Why is the death tune so out of tune? It’s pretty creepy. I guess the whole game is kinda creepy.
