I loved this game the first time I played it at my cousin's house (he got the ColecoVision and all of the launch titles when they were released - man was I jealous).

I played Apple Panic on my Vic-20 and loved it but this blew it away.

Some don't like these types of games but I enjoy them.

Love the little musical score upon the competion of each level...

So is the trick to make the boss aliens fall on the other ones so they don’t need 3 levels to kill them? I can never seem to get 3 levels open before they fall into one of the others and ruin it.

Yes. Although you will need to drop one though holes. The other six can be dropped onto one another. There is always seven aliens in the later screens. I'm uploading a video to post with some tips.

My picture and sound have been glitching out so much that I think I’ll have to shelve my system and stick to emulation until I can figure out a good cleaning for it. I feel like I’ve been saying this for years 🙄 I’ll have to play this again on emu so I can try for another bonus point.

Ironically, this photo has no glitches...

I had the same problem several times, graphics sometimes, other times the sound is messed up. In one game the monsters were digging up in the air, flying around the screen. I don't think it's the cart, the game is just glitchy.

Yeah, I'm still getting glitches in emulation. One time the game froze entirely on me. Couldn't beat my score, and I have more non-glitchy games to play, so I'm calling it here. Shame tho, b/c the game is fun otherwise. If these glitches were happening back during the original release, I imagine that there were a lot of returns happening.
