Castlevania 2600 - The Tree of the Dead (PAL/ NTSC)

 

Help Simon Belmont bring down the Tree of the Dead in the dark forest, using his powerful magic whip that reduces the evil creatures to ashes in the service of evil incarnate, known as Dracula.
The tree of the dead is responsible for bringing such creatures to our world, it is the link between the physical and spiritual world, tear it down and the link will be broken.

Castlevania 2600 - Vol.2 - The Tree of the Dead (PAL/ NTSC)

 

The second version of the game with the subtitle of Vol.2 reverts to the original features of Forest da Sancho.
Unlike the first version you can get high scores, the setting is more faithful to the NES Catlevania with small walls, secondary trees have been removed and the classic original Forest sound returns. You may notice a little more sluggishness in gameplay in Vol.2. Hope you like it.

Castlevania 2600 - Vol.3 - The Tree of the Dead (PAL/ NTSC)

 

Final version

In Vol.3 Simon Belmont is now fully pixelated in the Atari 2600 style, without many graphic details that define the character's musculature as in the NES version and with only one color. Also his stature has been reduced to the size of the creatures that chase him.
Finally Vol. 3 brings together the best of the first two versions, with high scores, differentiated sound and the return of secondary trees. Hope everyone likes the final result.

Thanks! Why don't we improve Nunchaku-mania? If you want, we can do that and leave Nunchaku-mania more or less like this, applying something similar to what I did in my Forest hack.
Would have an NTSC version too, if you agree.

Abaixo estão os arquivos binários para testar as versões Nunchamania, PAL e NTSC.
Eu usei seu último arquivo binário lançado como base.
Se as cores não estiverem boas ou precisarem de alguns ajustes, me avise para alterar.
Também me avise assim que você tiver os arquivos baixados para excluí-los desta postagem.
Espero que tenham gostado dos resultados.

Eu adicionei um segundo pacote contendo os arquivos binários com alteração de plano de fundo. Optei por um fundo mais claro e as casas com um tom mais escuro. Veja qual é a melhor opção para atualizar sua postagem.

For the ntnc version, the screen of the game jumps and at the beginning of a game the game loses its colors, becomes like a pal version.

The NTSC version is an adaptation of the PAL version, so there may be some bugs, such as the screen larger than the PAL version. In the tests I conducted it ran well on real hardware, on the emulator there is a more pronounced slowdown, I still don't know why this occurs.

I played with an atari vcs ntsc and harmony encore cartridge .
