xhul
Hello there. I may have a question regarding the USB power kit. I've read that it's a bad idea to have something plugged in both the original power port and the micro USB port, which makes sense. But what about using just the the original power port? In other words, can the soldering of the micro USB port alone compromise the original power circuit? Thanks in advance. Great shop, keep up the good work =] Edited February 9, 2023 by xhul

The USB socket is soldered in past the power circuit so should not have an effect on the original power socket, so you can use it just fine, as long as you don't plug anything into both. Also you should not have batteries and USB plugged in at the same time. 1

If everything goes well, i should receive my wall adapter today. So if there's an issue with the adapter+cable, like not enough power or something, at least i can use the original power supply for a while.
