Brufnus Posted September 11, 2022 Share Posted September 11, 2022 Those familiar with the Amiga's probably know how they format floppies - format one track, then verify it, then format the next, etc. This approach is way faster than formatting all tracks first, then verifying (fewer head steps, of course) - and, arguably, causing less wear on the floppy drive. Could this be of any interest in a future MDOS format routine? Could make (bulk) formatting way faster for us, especially those of us who use the 1.44 MB option (like me...) 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
