Grimm1966
I didn't see this in the manual, but can you use a PI1541 and/or an original 1541 with the OS? Thanks,

Thanks, As a secondary drive, likely, but... https://c64os.com/c64os/gettingstarted/#requirements Quote C64 OS can access all your floppy disk drives, but a mass-storage device with support for native CMD-style subdirectories is required for the system drive. (emphasis mine) I lament there appears to be no trial version. I can imagine if there was one, however, well, you know how pie rats are. Grimm1966
I did find this on the PI1541, but I don't know if this is good enough, or if there are commands that the C64OS needs that the PI1541 doesn't implement? https://github.com/pi1541/Pi1541/blob/master/docs/IEC Commands.md Edited March 29 by Grimm1966

It seems like it should given it supports CMD subdirectories but, like you said, I do not see anything specific there.
