Do you guys put your "handle" on the card or in the package? I always have signed the card with my handle, just wondering how everyone does it?

If you do that, then you are no longer a "Secret" Santa 😁

I believe Australia has more to offer than spiders. For instance venomous snakes.

Xmas is our busiest time of year for exporting beasties!

I look forward to the unique nature of my inevitable mauling and/or death upon opening such package now. I can only hope I get a dropbear. Thanks for the perspective!

"Hello, AustraliaPost?  Is it too late to recall a parcel? I might have made a huge mistake."

Starting to stress about my package not showing up in time.....tis the season

:skull:

Don't worry!  We're almost a week before Thanksgiving, so we are all actually in pretty good shape I think.

Wow I'm having so much fun with this... I have a little anxiety each year at the beginning hoping to find stuff for my recipient, but each time end up thinking I've matched their tastes pretty well. I'm at that stage right now where it feels very gratifying.

I think I'm the only one with an Australian customs declaration, so there's no point in me trying to hide :D

I remember last year I sent my SS to you I had to not only write out who I was and where it came from but I had to declare each and every item in the package on the outer label. Surprise? 🤪

Often you can be kind of vague about the customs declaration, as long as it is reasonably accurate. The recipient will know if they're getting some kind of game, some candy, perhaps some clothing but usually you don't have to be more specific than so.

I didn't want to take a chance on it getting there late. The USPS label wanted specific item listings and value for customs. Was still a good year. :)

EDIT: I assume. ;)

Yeah I tried vague. And the woman in the post office made me declare everything line by line. In detail. *sigh*

Yes! Very much so! Thank you!

I grew up with the Dot series from Australia, despite being saturated with Californian blood.  It was mostly thanks to my dad  seeking out wild animated films from foreign lands.

Anyway, now we're at a time where experiencing these films is way easier... So, for anyone who cares to experience this, here's Dot AND Santa straight from down under...

I've only been here since 2007. I have no idea what this is, lol :)

Well I have everything in, wrapped and ready to go. I just need an actual shipping box to pack it all into and send it off to the North Pole. Planning on grabbing one from work this weekend.

As it is said in our Favorite Christmas movie - "yippee-ki-yay!"
