chorlton655
My STe is going crazy, the desktop works as normal but if I try to run any games it looks like the horizontal hold has gone on my TV. It’s not the tv because I have tried other things on it and it’s fine. 5A30CF11-55CD-44F3-B29B-5A4952370782.MOV Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/342245-help-display-issue-on-my-ste/ Share on other sites
TGB1718
That certainly looks like horizontal/vertical hold need a little tweak, a small adjustment may have no effect on other things, worth a try before you start pulling the STe apart. Chri O.
Honestly I think you should invest in this: Dell SE2722H 27" Full HD (1920 x 1080) 75Hz LED Monitor. A new 27 inch monitor that is available and works 100%! (or 60Hz if the Ste is PAL region) This is why I'm glad to have two SC1224 monitors as they have no problem with 50Hz or 60Hz. masteries
As Charlie_ explained, 50 / 60 Hz switching is normal for a STE; switching is performed via software, Try your STE in another TVs, such modern LCD/TFT screens. Most of them supports 50 / 60 Hz Edited December 1, 2022 by masteries Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/342245-help-display-issue-on-my-ste/#findComment-5164026 Share on other sites
