Some noob questions

Hello and first of all I will apologize for the "noobness" of my questions.

On request of my 9 years old child, I rescued my old TI 99/4a from my parents' garage. Surprisingly it is working (even if it was just sat into his original box without any other protection from dust and humidity). The problems are:

1) I don't have the original cassette recorder I was using in 80s and the one I'm trying to iuse now sometimes works and some other times don't.

2) the PAL antenna signal is noisy, and I am not skilled enough to understand wy. I don't know if it's because of the PAL adapter or the cable or the plug or the video card itself.

I wanted to ask some very EASY ways to:

1) obtain a better video signal

2) tranfer data (programs or downloaded disk/cartidge/cassette images) from a PC to the TI99

3) save/load data directly from TI99 (avoiding cassettes preferably).

points 2 and 3 could have the same solution maybe. The easiest way for me would be buying prompt hardware but I don't know where to search it and which one I should buy. Other solutions will be appreciated too.

Thank you.

PS: few minutes ago my TI stopped to turn on 😞 ... Maybe its the power supply... How can I test it?

Provo comunque a risponderti.

Ciao

Lapo.

@Serafini Lapo Just to not create misunderstanding...
The cable for the PAL version of the TI-99/4A need to be "Component" NOT "composite". Composite for the PAL version of the TI-99/4A is only Black&White if you will not create this modifying a modulator PHA2036/2030.
