     As usual in October, the Fresno Commodore User Group does not have a regular club meeting but a club "picnic" lunch.  See the forwarded announcement below, written by our club treasurer, Dick Estel.

Our annual "picnic," which in reality is lunch at a restaurant, will take place starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 30.

 

The location is El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant, 40 W Shaw Ave, Suite 101, Clovis on the southwest corner of Shaw and Minnewawa.

 

Traveling east on Shaw from Fresno, turn right at the traffic light at Minnewawa. Go to the second driveway into the shopping center, The restaurant is in a row of stores at the far south side of the area, close to Minnewawa.

 

If you are coming from the north, note that Minnewawa goes north only to Bullard.

 

Do not attempt to drive south from Herndon or any location south of that on nearby Villa. There is major construction on this street and it is closed between Barstow and Bullard, although conditions may change by October 30.
