+sixersfan105
The release of HERO for Odyssey 2/Videopac hasn't received as much attention as it deserves, so figured I'd make a post about it here on AtariAge. For a gameplay video, click here. A limited run of 50 in Videopac styling and 50 in O2 styling is now available from Videopac Belgium. Send an email to Marc Verraes at videopac.is@live.be for more details and to make a purchase. Last I heard, pricing was as follows: Game + manual + index card: €30 Used Videopac Case: €5 New Videopac Case: €9 Shipping to US without case: €14 Shipping to US with case: €25 Cheers. 5

grownup
That looks great; probably the best game for the Odyssey 2. But I already have the game for my Atari.

I agree! Perhaps LD Games? That's who posted this unlisted YouTube video a while back. Not much info on LD Games (read: no info).

Marc has been selling HERO in both Odyssey2 and Videopac stylings for a while now.

I apologize, maybe there is a misunderstanding, but Odyssey Brasil does not require authorization from Videopac Belgium to publish this game, since Odyssey Brasil is authorized, by the author of the game, Ivan Machado, to launch the game as long as was still in its conceptual phase. The game was even developed in Brazil and tested daily by members of Odyssey Brazil and friends in the USA. The reason we haven't launched it yet is because, as collectors, we value the experience as a whole, we are lovers of every artistic concept created by the Odyssey2 brand and it is the experience we want to deliver to those who buy our games, and the ourselves. This whole process takes some time to develop. There are artists who work on all of our covers, and they can't always deliver a job in the time frame we'd like, there's work to make the boxes and also manufacture the cartridges. It is worth mentioning that Odyssey Brasil cartridges are new and manufactured (not printed on 3D printers), the same applies to the boards. It is important to mention that Odyssey Brasil does a serious job, which is praised by Odyssey lovers. You can learn more about our work through the most recent releases: https://experienciaodyssey.com.br/o2/ and learn more about games under development at Odyssey Studios...https://experienciaodyssey.com.br/odysseystudios/ Edited June 17, 2023 by ricardosacra
Dantaipan
Well, that solves the mystery of who the developer is 🤓. Nice work Ivan Machado!
