F18A with C99?

I have not seen this anywhere, but I am wondering if there are any examples that can be used for changing graphics modes, colors, etc. with the F18A in C99?

Writing to the F18A is the same as writing to the 9918A, so any C-code for the 9918A will be usable.  Since the 9918A is memory-mapped on the 99/4A, I expect some sort of setting a volatile byte-pointer to the VDP memory addresses, then writing bytes to the pointers.
