norkusa
I just picked up a boxed early 6-switch 2600 in great shape from a thrift store the other day that I plan on selling soon. It's not a "Heavy Sixer", but the model made in Taiwan in 1978-79. Does one model fetch more money than the other? I would think the Sixers would be worth more, but I sold one of the Taiwanese models that was like new on ebay for $685 a few years ago. Was that a fluke or do both these 2600's usually sell for the same amount?
Godzilla
$685? jesus christ did it like have 3 quadruns and 3 waterworlds with it and you were just ignorant? heavy sixers usually go for a bit more, the differences arent ususally that pronounced, and I think youd be lucky to get $68 much less $685. Thats what I thought. The 2600 I sold $685 though was totally mint and looked like it was never played. The paddle controllers that came with it were still unused and sealed in the cardboard box. I guess some people will insane amounts of money for 2600's in nice condition.
