I have an Android-powered ORBIC RC54SL cellphone that I need to sync with my Windows 10 laptop so I can make calls directly from my laptop. It is already paired with the laptop. What software do I need installed on the laptop/cellphone to make it work? Thanks.

Not sure if it will work for you phone, but Windows 10 has a "Phone Link" app that i use.  It should be available in the Microsoft Store.. BTW, your laptop needs to have bluetooth.

Depends on the phone in question, if it supports usb modem mode or not.

 

Most users these days are not interested in that, and so support is less and less available.

 

If the mode is available, the phone will report itself as a usb connected serial port, and then any old telephony app will work.

 

Otherwise, you might try pairing the phone over bluetooth, and seeing if 'handset' is a supported subclass.

Google voice is a much simpler solution you can make your calls on your PC with it and the phone as well and then even transfer between mid call
