Tursi
So I ended up seeing another mathematically generated image, and another. I ported a space one, but it took several hours to run even under overdrive* and the results with the lower resolution were not too satisfying... But I thought I'd wake the thread to show the webpage that is gathering all of these... it's a collection of BBC Micro programs running in emulators as thumbnails. You can click on any to see the source code, and many are amazing. https://www.bbcmicrobot.com/ (Note: if the source code looks scrambled the BBC lets people distribute their programs pre-tokenized. Just click 'decode' at the bottom of the emulator to make some sense of it.) (I was also reminded that I added a feature to Classic99 that even I never got around to using before now - you can set how much overdrive tries to overdrive by in the INI file - [emulation]/overdrive. The default is 50, and it will attempt to run the CPU at 50x. I was able to put this over 1000 on my machine without the host CPU overloading... though I don't have a test to see if it's really running that fast. But it was a lot quicker ) 3 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/344814-death-star-for-missing-link/page/3/#findComment-5391604 Share on other sites
