Captain Cozmos
As part of my never ending conversion of the FPGA ADAM I have run into a weird port that I can not find in my technical manual. Now, maybe I need to walk away and look again, I have been at this for 11 hours now but in case it's not just fatigue, can someone PM me or direct me to a link or document. I was disassembling some software for testing which came up with out (78) Like I said, maybe I'm just tired. I know the standard ports like 7F to setup memory, the sound, controllers but I do not remember encountering 78. If I had to guess, this is probably an obscure video port access or some deal. I'll try some tests either way. feel free to share your thoughts. CC Edited December 14, 2022 by Captain Cozmos
NIAD
Check out the I/O Port Address List that is available. I don’t know if it’s complete, but should help. http://adamarchive.org/archive/Technical/ADAM Tech Manuals/
Tekman
The most complete list I've seen is in the ADAM MAME source. It shows 60-7F as memory bank switch port, but you already knew that. "60-7F Memory Bank Switch Port Input MAY be available Output is NOT available" https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/src/mame/coleco/adam.cpp

"60-7F Memory Bank Switch Port Input MAY be available Output is NOT available" https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/src/mame/coleco/adam.cpp It was used several times with different values so I will write some findings after I experiment a bit. Who knows, maybe I learned some top secret Coleco stuff. Actually when you disassemble the high end ADAM programs you learn some cool &&&&. Talking about the Disk Manager, EOS, LOGO. Next on my list is Expertype. Edited December 14, 2022 by Captain Cozmos
