Star Castle Arcade

Left Difficulty: B

Right Difficulty: B

Game Mode: Game 1

Programmed by: Chris Walton and Thomas Jentzsch

The object of Star Castle is to destroy an enemy cannon which sits in the center of three concentric, rotating energy shield rings while avoiding or destroying 'mines' – enemies that spawn from the core, pass through the energy rings, and then home in on the player's ship. They can stick back to the shield if the player maneuvers in such a way that a ring is between the ship and the mines. The player-controlled spaceship can rotate, thrust forward, and fire small projectiles. The cannon's shields are composed of twelve sections each, and each section takes two hits to destroy. Once a section is breached, rings beneath it are exposed to fire.

Boom!

Left Difficulty: B

Right Difficulty: B

Game Mode: Game 1 (No CONTINUES)

Programmed by: Chris Walton

Boom! is a tribute to the classic NES Bomberman. The objective of the game is to kill all the enemies, then find the hidden door under one of the walls.   Each level also contains a hidden power-up that changes the rules of the game, e.g. more bombs, increased bomb radius, detonator, etc Clear the level…score big points. Onward to the next Level!

Mr Yo-Yo

Left Difficulty: B

Right Difficulty: B

Game Mode: Level 1

Programmed by: Dave Marli

You control Mr. Yo-Yo. You are given five lives at the start of the game . The object of the game is to descend to the bottom of the cave, and rescue the Notelies by returning them to the top of the cave. When a Notely is ready to be rescued, he will appear in the little bucket area at the bottom of the cave. To pick up the Notely, descend to the bottom of your string. Mr. Yo-Yo will begin flashing various colors to indicate you’ve picked up a Notely. Then, return to the top of the screen to release the Notely to freedom! Mr. Yo-Yo will then return to his normal color, and you can get ready to rescue the next Notely. Sometimes, you may have to shoot some enemies to get the Notelies to appear. The further you get into a level of caves, the more timid the Notelies become. You’ll have to shoot more and more enemies for them to have enough courage to appear.

Conquest of Mars (Special HSC Demo Edition)

Game by: John W. Champeau

Destroy the Martian rebellion by descending through the six caverns of Mars to activate the main energy reactors and escape to the surface before they blow up! I got a fatal game error..... 😵

I just tried and it is working fine for me.

I will contact Chris Walton and see what he has to say.

Tried out Mr. Yo-Yo. The first two levels are fun, the 3rd level is tough as light blue demon birds come out and make it very difficult to do anything. 🥺

Mr. Yo-Yo - Level 1 - B/B - 13,750 Points...

@Rickster8 do you know, you can shoot left and right (by pressing left/right)?! So you can get rid of these demon birds !

Lol, I was gonna ask up above if there's a way to get rid of them, meaning to shoot them. No I didn't know that, but was hoping, lol.

Thinking back I do recall some shots coming from Mr. Yo-Yo involuntarily. I wasn't sure cuz I didn't recall reading in the write up that Mr. Yo-Yo could shoot lol. I will try this later...... Thx

EDIT: The write up DOES in fact mention that Mr. Yo-Yo can shoot. Not sure why I missed that... Somebody probably bugged me when I was reading it, HA!!!! :P
