BIGHMW
This would be a great Xmas treat for all of us to enjoy for Big Sexy during the holiday season, I sure hope that maybe either Paul Lay @playsoft, @Wrathchild or Steve Tucker @classics can maybe grace us with a 5200 conversion of this good-looking Arkanoid-style game, and months after first seeing this video on it finally I found it again and I just had to finally suggest a conversion be made of it, the Atlantis Software game, Crack-Up! It looks great but can it be done, we'll find out. Crack-Up !.xex

Crack-Up !.xex 14.9 kB · 5 downloads Well I WAS hoping that maybe somebody may have taken the time to make this available for the 5200, since I DO NOT HAVE THE (possibly) $600.00 in which is needed to reacquire an XEGS LIKE THE CIB one that's (still) up for sale on the AA Marketplace, my leaving it alone was SUPPOSED TO hopefully get someone to do a conversion for all of us since it seems like Big Sexy doesn't seem to get enough love from the gaming community. That and also one for Planetary Defense, aqnd also Bug Attack and there are 2 others in which I would love to see conversions of for the 5200 hopefully soon, the ROMs for those 3 will be submitted later on, in fact watching this video on Planetary Defense for the A8 in the AA Facebook page (uploaded by @Albert himself) just wet my appetite again for a conversion of it too, the CX53 trak-ball would be awesome on this game, as this video seen with the mouse version (if converted for trak-ball mode) proves my case. +Stephen
I'm starting to think Ray is a bot. Sure would be nice if it had a RAM upgrade so it could possibly learn though. It's permanently stuck in a repeat loop. 3

This game, Crack-Up!, is based on Arkanoid, the hit arcade game from 1986, in fact, that was the year before I moved to Port Townsend from L.A. (Born in Panorama City, CA in 1966, raised in both Northridge and in Sepulveda [now known as North Hills] until 1987), and no, this game is (at least) TEN TIMES BETTER than Super Breakout, in which originally came out to arcades in 1978. There are SO MANY intricacies in Crack-Up!/Arkanoid that Super Breakout DOES NOT HAVE, such as "power-ups", and on one of them, the ability to make your paddle a shooter, plus so much more including indestructible bricks, roving targets, and more. The 5200 has never been "blessed" (as I would like to put it as every 5200 port is special, especially the conversions and homebrews) with a port of Arkanoid and since the A8 port of Arkanoid requires more RAM than the 5200 has, I figure that this version (Crack-Up!) I included in the ROM up above, just might be doable as it appears to be more of a simple version, mainly because it is only a mere 15K of ROM and she just might be our only chance of getting an Arkanoid-like port for Big Sexy. In fact, let me include two clips, one of each and the difference is night and day of how unlike each other they are.
