Intellivision Skiing...?

Howdy Inty Gamers / Programmers....

 

Was wondering if any-one here knows anything about Intellivision Skiing? Are there different carts for NTSC and PAL? Does Inty Skiing play slower on a PAL system? Are there modified carts out there that would affect the time? 

 

The reason I ask is the cart Auto Racing was re-done at one time. It went from Original Steering (Directional Steering) to Revised Steering (Rotational Steering). I'm just wondering if this same type of thing happened with the Skiing cart? 🤷‍♂️

Mattel didn’t release special PAL carts. It’s the same game like the NTSC version.

And the steering revision for Auto Racing was not a PAL/NTSC thing.

And yes, most of the games are slower on PAL consoles.

Haven't heard of any rom variants for Skiing, on cartridge or otherwise.  The controls might seem backwards to some.  Push left and the skier turn to his right.

Really?  I find them very intuitive.

And then there's Biplanes.  I've tried it more recently, pushed back on the disc and immediately nose dived into the ground.  Didn't take long to get it right.

Love that game.  Those controls are awesome!  My brother and I would have great dog fights.  Good times.
