Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas, all.

Man, I just had one of the best Christmases ever.

I just got a Capcom Legacy Edition Street Fighter II arcade cabinet, the SNES/Famicom visual compendium, a Bowser ship toy with sound effects and Mario, Luigi, Peach, Goomba and Bowser figures, the Atari Anniversary Celebration compilation, a Lego Superman keyring, a terrible but awesome Ghostbusters Christmas jumper, so many sweets and stuff in my Christmas stocking, a Santa mug, a Grumpy Forever from Snow White mug, and more.

And Christmas dinner is still to come!

I'm 46 years old, and I feel like a kid again!

Merry Christmas!

Hohoho!

I got myself some games a couple weeks ago for Christmas, the only SNES one this round was the Konami Chibi Maruko-chan Mesaze Minna no Island game. It's basically just 3 mini games you play over and over till you beat the game, but the games visuals are quite nice, shame the value of the game is greater than when it used to be dirt cheap years back. It goes for quite a bit more now, I felt lucky getting it for $24.99 cart only.

The rest:

Genesis:

Zombies Ate My Neighbors, to compliment my SNES copy

Burning Force, more Namco goodness for my Genesis

Game Boy:

Looney Tunes, good old Sunsoft

Tower of Druaga, because it was the last port for a console I own, that I wanted

NES/FC:

The Goonies, because why not, I own the sequel

PS1:

Lightning Legend, Konami's weakest genre, fighting games, but this one has some nice sprites, and cute aesthetics

Namco Museum 4 JP version, because the last one I bought years back turned out to be busted, and only Pac-Land and Assault/Assault Plus worked on it. Wanted to be able to play Ordyne, Return of Ishtar, and Genpei Toumaden as well

Very nice selection there. Hope you enjoy playing them all over the holidays.

Santa mostly focused his attention to japanese Gamecube games but I did get Block Kuzushi for SFC, a fun looking Breakout-clone with 2-player options.

And also a mystery lot of 9 SFC carts, which included Magical Quest 1&2, Super Bonk 2, Bomberman 5 & B-Daman and others. The mystery here is if they will work or not. Last time it was 6/8, hoping for a similar success this time. Haven't had a chance to test them yet.

A great selection there. Hopefully all or at least most of them work. :D

I went ahead and treated myself to the Sega Genesis Mini 2, found a US seller on Mercari of all things not grifting, got it for $100 + US shipping.  The Japanese on amazon recently raised it a few dollars, but also removed the free shipping so it's like $130 out of there now so I went searching elsewhere. :)

And a gift from the past for the future, my Analogue Pocket showed up on the 23rd.

Two great buys right there. Have fun with them. :D

The guy finally updated the page with tracking says I should get it Friday.  We'll see, the USPS decided we don't need a mail carrier anymore other than people who want overtime. 😕

Here's hoping you do. :)

I just added the re-print HeroQuest and Masters of the Universe Origins He-Man to my [slightly late] Christmas gift list (kinda amazed the wife is totally okay with it too):

OK, now I really do think this is the best Christmas I've ever had!

Not bad, I have an original (battle damage armor) He-Man with an axe and he's riding on battle cat with the armor, and then same style skeletor on top of his cat too, and a clawful with his full accessories too upon a shelf just over this desk.  I won't be going into that rabbit hole, grown men predators have made the market just nasty for the things.  He-Man was my big toy series as a kid, got in early had grayskull, most of the first year or two of the figures, a vehicle or two I do remember the battle armor heman zip pull bike thing, and I think the tank too.
