OBTW, is there some trick to ordering from BEST?  I don't see a shopping cart or anything like that.

Once you order from him, he'll give you a Customer Number. He provides an invoice with every order and it'll contain your number. Make a note of it, for any future orders.

I always call him with my order and Customer Number and have never had an issue. It normally takes two days for me (Houston, TX) to receive my orders.

Yup I also recommend calling him. I use a credit card and I don't worry about the total, I don't think he even gives a final total but it'll be on your invoice when you receive your order. It's roughly part costs plus sales tax plus a dollar or two I think plus about $10 or so for the priority shipping within the US.

Same.  Knowing what you want in advance (and having item numbers ready if necessary) is key.  Ditto your customer number once you have one.

That's definitely one of the quirks of ordering from Best.  It's never been something that upset me, since I've never had reason to debate a charge from them - but it is different, and anyone calling in should be prepared for it since it's not likely to change anytime soon.
