Point of clarification: I don't think either of these two games are ports. It could be argued that PhoboZphere draw inspiration from Tetrisphere>Phear but it is really not being ported per se. Dino Rage has some loose inspirational connection to Primal Rage but no more than dinosaurs, art style and the word "rage".

Cheers!

Thank you for the clarification. I label games for classification in the annual Atari Homebrew Awards and both of these games appear to fall under our current definition. As of this writing there isn't an award category for ports for Jaguar, all games are currently judged together, but there may be in the future if there are enough to sustain that category. If you'd like to check out the current definition of port that we use, here's a link to the the voting guide PDF. Our definition of a port may differ from other people's definition but it works well for us for the purpose of the event.

Xevious? 😢

I tried to search for Xevious but was only able to find this thread that doesn't seem to have any recent activity. Could you provide a link to a binary or video of Xevious being worked on in 2023?

Thank you for making that more clear and thanks for the link to the PDF.

Yeah what did happen to Xevious? Saw the pics of the guy playing it on the Jag but never a cart!

That's the last update I can find as well. Might be a good idea to bump the thread to see if there are any plans for the game, it looks great!

I don't know if this will change the list, but I thought I would bring it up to make sure it's clear.

'"Odd-It Will Be Watching" will be part of a collection of three games.  This collection will be called "Crescent Memories".  This collection also includes "Flappy McFur", an updated version of the 2016 release, and Odd-Ball (unreleased).

I'm fine with how It's currently listed above, but if you think it would be good to have something like "Included in the Crescent Memories collection".  I dunno, that might make it more confusing :)  Let me know your thoughts.

Very good point, I try to include information like that and I've updated the listing. 🙂

@Albert or a mod - Can you pin this please its great information. Thank you. 🙏

I appreciate this @ZeroPage Homebrew so thanks for putting it together. If Al pins it can you combine the previous and future years to the top possibly? Just a thought as it would be nice to have all this in one location everyone can reference?

Thanks to all the homebrew devs as well for all the work.

Any update on Mighty Frogs game by Force Design?

Just my thoughts guys but as a fan of homebrew games I’d love to see a one stop location and this seems to be a great source for all.
