Harry Potter
Hi! Are there any cc65 programmers here who create code for the Vic20? I have some ways to help you program more efficient code for the Vic20. They include alternate configurations which allow you to use parts of the first 1k of memory for code, for multiple memory configurations and for Vic20 cartridges, CBMSimpleIO as an efficient replacement for the printf() and puts() functions and some simple games that use CBMSimpleIO and the memory configurations. They are at c65 additions - Manage Files at SourceForge.net. "Memory cfgs" contains the memory configurations, "ui" CBMSimpleIO and "game" some Vic20 and other games. I ask you to try them out and tell me what you think.
carlsson
I very briefly tried C programming on the Commodores but got sidetracked. I tend to work in BASIC or assembly language, but in case I get back to cc65, I will give your files a spin.
