When I took Systems Analysis as a wee sprout, we were designing a distance learning system for our college (before web-based distance learning was a thing.)  I was relying upon my knowledge of hardware and software to dictate some of my specifications, often asking or posing that such-and-such could not do what we were planning.

Finally, one of the grey beards took me aside and explained how we do not care about that.  We just write the specs, and what we want, and someone else down the line worries about what stuff can or cannot do whatever.

I have the screen retention system, screen, and speakers all assembled together.  It's a bit rough (since I had to go to town on it with a hot tool to get the speakers in, due to the odd shape of their retainers, and because I goofed up bigtime on the front button strip's orientation... whoops.), but all the goodies function.

I ran out of bright yellow, and had to substitute some other abundant filament toward the end of the print, but this is just the undercarriage that you wont see anyway.  I just wanted to show off that the speakers do in fact, fit. :)

This is my last puzzle - 36 years ago, when I was 16.

6000 parts, took me about 18 months.

Back then, this was the time when I learned TurboPasc'99, and I wrote a Quicksort program that sorted the star names from left to right, and from right to left (in case I only had the second part of the name in my hand), together with the coordinates.

Sorry for the shooting angle; it hangs at the wall in our stairwell.

I know this is not a place for general computer usage help, but this is driving me crazy:

I can not get youtube's autoplay to stay off.

I set it to off, watch the current video, and next time i go to watch a different video on youtube, i see its set to on.

Using latest firefox on ubuntu mate 20.04.

Some sort issue with cookies maybe? (and yes, i stay signed in to google/youtube all the time, so its not a issue of needing to sign in to save my settings.)

Check out the Enhancer for YouTube add-on.

Do you use it on multiple devices? If so make sure they all agree in the settings

Just spent several hours working on some chainlink fence around our Church's cemetery.  Need to make sure nobody escapes.......

Unfortunately, the two local hardware stores in this small town did not have some needed hardware for the hinges and locking handles for some of the gates that need to be replaced.

Very much like here but I expect it here .

It's best that people there just need to stop dying, and special hardware can be a thing of the past.

Just in case: remember to double-tap.
