1000 l = 1 m³ of water has a mass of 1000 kg = 1 metric ton and freezes at 0°C.

All we need to know. 🙂

Yes, but if you had a square fathom filled with water and it was leaking a pottle every minute, how many stone would it weigh after 1 hour?

Even a Great Horned Owl has to eat. I frequently see Red Tail Hawks fly off with Squirrels in their talons.

I was driving around Tuesday afternoon when I saw a big red tail land on top of a carcass of something in the street near the curb.  I slowed down and moved over to go around it.  Just as I got a few feet away, the big beast lifted off with the remains of whatever in its talons, but then did a double-take just above my right fender and dropped its meal back onto the street.

The only time I have ever wished I had a dash cam.

Well, the metric system is much more established in the US than most people know or admit to ... just have a look:

How thick is the square fathom?

Is that a US pottle or a Canadian/Imperial pottle. (Ours was bigger but some say size doesn't matter) :)
