Did I mention that I consider QR codes a security risk?

Security specialists most certainly do.  Most QR readers now parse the code and present it to the user to confirm action, whereas almost all used to just happily jump to the URL or whatever.  That is not the only danger, but it was/is a big one.

Netflix is releasing a movie called 'Fly Me to the Moon,' about NASA faking the Moon landing in a studio.

OMG! That's gonna give the conspiracy guys a lot of oxygen.

I am hoping that one day somebody places a pulsed strobe on the moon that is visible from Earth to stop the nonsense.

Well there's a retroreflector that you can bounce a laser off of that's already there.  I doubt that would change anything. 😂

Capricorn One?

James Bond: Diamonds are Forever?

Nobody knows the movie "Capricorn One" (1978)? - About the Mars mission that turned out to be unfeasible in the last minute, and then NASA simulated the whole mission in a studio. It went well until the capsule was lost on re-entry, and they now had three astronauts that could not be allowed to live any longer.

As for "Diamonds are Forever" (1971), in one scene, Bond stumbled into a studio scenery where they seemingly trained or faked a Moon mission, then got on a Lunar rover and tried to flee over the rocky terrain outside.

OK.  SO.  I am working a traveling job now.  This year I am traveling to six locations, next year should be up to 10, maybe more.  As my travel is done through an agency, trips tend to be with whichever carrier is the least expensive, among other factors.  For the past 15 years I have been doing my personal travel through Delta.  More expensive, but I have been treated very well.  During and after COVID, Delta made a bunch of changes.

During one of my last trips on American Airlines, I had two four-hour layovers, I was tired and hungry, and for the cost of two meals at these airports, I bought a day pass to American's Admirals Club.  Cost effective, and amazing.  This trip, I got booked on Delta so I thought, hey, I will try the Sky Club on this trip.

Nope.  No American Express, no admittance.  WTF?!  I emailed Delta about it, closing with, "I understand Delta has to decide who its clientele will be, it appears Delta has done so, and it is a big club which I am not in."  The response I received tonight, well, my stars!  The highlight of the response is, "These changes are part of several we’ve made over the past year that will continue to help balance the popularity of the Clubs with the premium atmosphere they are intended to provide for our customers."

There you have it.  I am not part of the premium atmosphere with Delta.

Yeah Delta made a significant number of changes this past year to re-upscale (is that even a word?) its rewards program, including access to the Sky Lounge, because the previous iteration allowed too many people to access premium services and supposedly diluted the experience. Even if you have an American Express Delta Reserve card, you only still get 15 complimentary entries to the lounges . Otherwise it's for First Class passengers and high level Medallion holders. It's also now harder to level up on your Medallion status.

I fly Delta exclusively unless I have no choice for the same reason you do, i.e. overall flight experience, but have never had a need to use the Sky Lounges, and the only tangible benefit to my Delta Rewards status is Priority Boarding and free checked luggage. Since I avoid carry-on luggage like the plague, Priority Boarding for me is useless and I usually wait till almost everybody has boarded before I go in :)

I went to Ebay and bought a cheap 99a with a bad keyboard JUST so I could use one of my extra PCB's and switches to repair it.😁 Am I getting old or what?

If getting old means being resourceful, then, yes.
