+TheBF
Totally off topic. My 8 year old grand son came over for supper and he said "Do you want to see the game I built in Scratch?" Blew my mind. I recorded a bit of the screen play. For some reason the sound did not record but there are sound effects in it as well. Amazing what you can do with the Scratch environment. He has been playing with it for about 6 months as I recall. Scratch Game 2024-09-01 19-50-46.mp4

Gary from OPA
this sucks, at 25mb I could at least do things, but now the lower limit of 10mb, means I going to have to go back to paying $12.99 CAD per month for Nitro.

Gary from OPA
The Dow Jones index for technology might soon remove Intel from the list and guess what two companies are in the running to replace the empty slot for computing the daily index. Nvidia of course... Quote Nvidia, which the world's third largest company by market capitalization, has seen its stock rise 160% this year alone. However, its volatility might be a concern for the Dow's selection committee. But old pal Texas Instruments is in the running to have it's glory spot back up on the stock ticker leaderboard... Quote On the other hand, there is Texas Instruments known for its stable performance and significant manufacturing presence in the U.S. TI's stock price has risen over 20% this year, is more in line with the average price of current Dow components. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/intel-could-be-removed-from-dow-jones-due-to-stark-stock-price-drop-report Edited September 5 by Gary from OPA added article quotes

RXB
There would be no space left on my desk for anything else if you saw the size of my PC with a giant case. My PC case is almost the height of my desk and just as long. It has has 11 fans 120mm and 140mm in size. It is so big it sits on floor next to desk on it's own board from a old book shelf. I have to take it apart just to carry it outside to clean it. So it is very much like the TI P-box, huge and heavy, impossible to put on desk.

Gary from OPA
Someone needs to code up an interactive program on the ti99 that works and looks like the Alien computer 70s AI interface, but we also need a few panels of blinking LEDs lights as well connected to a sidecar device and we could add a speech to enhance it up a bit!
