Intellivsion works - But Intellivoice is making the game stop working

I have tried multiple games designed for Intellivoice (ex. Bomb Squad and B17-Bomber) without the intellivoice inserted to the console and the games play just fine.

 

I now have tried two intellivoices that, when a game such as B-17 Bomber, is inserted the game title screen starts up and i can play for about 20 seconds - then the screen cuts to black.

 

Problem with the console or problem with the intellivoice?  

(FYI - console is working perfectly fine with all other games)

Not an super expert on this, but from my experience, I say the Intellivoice is BAD! Worn contacts inside or some other problem.

 

Only other possibility is a weak DC PS PCB. It has enough power to play the console, but not enough for the Intellivoice & console.
