Modem sniffer always says "Modem is busy."

Whenever I try to view the Modem Sniffer Log, it says:

 

"Error
Modem is busy. Try again later."

 

And the "Enable Modem Sniffer?" option is set to Yes.

 

Any suggestions?

When using the modem sniffer, you need to reset the fujinet after enabling it.

 

Once enabled, you'll see:

17:10:12.974350 > ModemSniffer::ModemSniffer(FS_SDFAT)

In the debug monitor log after FujiNet restarts.

 

and whenever the MODEM is connected to a host, you will see a message indicating that it has opened the output file:

The result will be placed in the 'rs232dump' file on your SD card, and should be fetchable from the web UI.

 

If you can read the rs232dump file on your SD card, and still can't get it from the web UI, please let me know, along with any debugging messages that happen when you attempt.

 

p.s. I must point out, that this specific feature was designed as a reverse engineering tool, at the request of a user, who was trying to capture RS232 data coming back and forth between a particular game. It slows down modem usage significantly.

It wasn't this way before and the information is only told like it is here, it is not explained at git or in the video about resetting
