Wing_Commander
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/589826629643055/?referralSurface=messenger_lightspeed_banner&referralCode=messenger_banner This is a SuperStick for the 3DO and is not a MAS product. I do not know who made these, but you can find them for the NES, Sega Genesis, and a few others I think. These are pretty rare, especially for the 3DO. These appear to be semi-replicas of the Street Fighter arcade cabinet control boards to some degree. Mine appears to have "3032 G" on the side and I have no idea what that even means. If not orginal to it, I may look to see if I can safely remove it. I am particularly interested in who exactly made this and if there are any promotional materials etc that might exist for it. Cheers! Edited January 19 by Wing_Commander added photo
Austin
Quick Google search shows that MAS actually did make 3DO sticks (news to me), and also dubbed them the "Superstick". The one you have could simply be a knock-off. http://www.3dotoday.com/Accessories.html - This site shows another Superstick that has a Mortal Kombat style layout. 🤦♂️ Personally if I had one of these, I'd open it up to see what's on the inside. Rumor has it that this might predate the MAS controllers, but I cannot confirm that. Though it could most certainly be a knock-off. Once I get it in though I plan to open it up and take a gander inside. I really hppe to find some actual articles, ads, or paperwork on these. So once this gets in, I will share more photos..., until then it is research time. Oh, and thankyou for the link! I am going to do this later tonight.. I will share some pics when I get a chance Primary reason is that I want to see what controller board is being used and if there is a manufacturer tag on the inside

Found it..https://archive.org/details/Electronic_Gaming_Monthly_45/page/n175/mode/2up?q=3do+superstickhttps://imgur.com/a/He4QgID They are made by company called "Japan Video Games" ... Here is their advert. I found the magazine they were advertized in with help from Archive3DO on the 3DO discord who suggested to search Archive.org. Wing_Commander
Update: It appears the company still exists:https://www.facebook.com/japanvideogames/ Same local area as the address in the posted print ads and they have supposedly been around for 50 years according to their FB page. I sent a message for more information..
Austin
Wow.. So they hacked up existing controllers to make these. Now I am curious how MAS did theirs.

Now I am curious how MAS did theirs. Exactly the same way in the same time period. Which have the hallmarks of the same builder. Meaning that they may be linked ... So there is that MAS may have been an offshoot from Japan Games , or that someone who built the Supersticks for Japan Games also made the MAS sticks.. If you look at the Super MaS stick, it has the same exact build as the 3DO and Sega Genesis Supersticks from Japan Games. More interesting is that MAS and Japan Games reside in CA. But yeah, they were essentially cannibalized game controllers put into a box and made into mini arcade control boards.. I believe MAS sticks came out in the late 90's while Japan Games sticks came out in the early 90's.. MAS sticks seem to be more advanced in design, but essentially the same starting out. https://www.ebay.com/itm/403971279368?hash=item5e0e908a08:g:eXUAAOSwpFNjSIrk Edited February 1 by Wing_Commander
