T.A.P.
I picked up a 2600 and a 7800 about a year ago with the intention of playing them, and I suspect each (especially the 2600) will need some TLC to get running properly. Can anyone on here recommend a good person or place that professionally repairs this stuff? I don't trust myself to do it right.
+x=usr(1536)
Are the machines showing any symptoms, or do you want to do more of a general health check? @-^CrossBow^- comes to mind for someone to work on them, but without having specifics to go by it's going to be difficult for anyone to know where to start.
T.A.P.
The 2600 has a poor AC adapter (something is rattling around inside it, so I don't want to use it to power the system), and the RF cable is frayed, so it needs to replacing too. The switches also feel rather mushy. I haven't tried turning it on, since those need replacing anyway, and I figured if it needs a new RF cable anyway, might as well have someone clean up the insides too. T.A.P.
The 7800 has sticky switches, especially its reset button, outside of that, it seems fine.
lmich391
On the 2600, the power adapter is like $10 plus shipping on console5 website. Rf cables are in short supply. If you don’t want it original I would say modify it with AV plugs and there are several ways to do that as well. It probably just needs a good cleaning. I can’t work on my either. I hope this helps

If you are located in the US and you need a 2600 RF cable. Shoot me a PM.
Keatah
What would constitute a professional repair service for vintage game consoles?
Matt300ZXT
There are several people in the community that can repair what you're listing as an issue rather easily. Just find someone that is recommended, send it their way, and let them work their magic.
