Juicyracoon
So I just got a game drive but when I started up my jaguar, the retro hq logo popped up but under it it said menu error or something like that. Now every time a start it up it’s just a grey screen with the jaguar logo also in grey.
SainT
Do any other carts boot? I'm not familiar with a grey screen with Jaguar logo. It's normally red if there's an issue? The menu error message means there was some issue verifying the menu code. This can be dirty contacts on the cart edge on console edge connector. Juicyracoon
Unfortunately the other cart I got was smashed in the mail, so I don’t have a way to test the console. The red screen popped up twice after the initial retro hq logo. Now it’s the same screen just all grey.

SainT
That should be a red screen, I'm not sure why you don't have colour? But that is a sign of bad contact between the cartridge edge and the console cartridge connector.
Juicyracoon
Ya just not sure why it’s no longer red haha. Gonna try and clean it again.

So I'd say its a h/w glitch on the console.
Zerosquare
Or a PAL console on a TV that only supports NTSC (or the opposite).
