Am trying to figure out how the FN_TLKIT commands work under SDX but struggling a bit. Can anyone please point me to a wiki entry or a manual for the FN Toolkit commands, I can't seem to find anything ?

Thanks

Due to cartridge space constraints, I could not put the documentation files for each command on the cart.

If you mount fnc-tools-doc.atr from apps.irata.online/Atari 8-bit/ You'll see DOC files for each command.

Which commands are you trying to use ?

Thanks Thom I'll do that.

The command I'm having problems with is FCONFIG.COM. I'm running FujiNet under the Altirra emulater using the FN launcher.exe program/emulator (not sure what to call it). I'm also running an Ultimate1MB / SIDE3 config with FJC's latest firmware & SDX4.49g via the U1MB CAR: along with the PCLINK.SYS driver. I've also got a PATH command setup in CONFIG.SYS for the FN_TLKIT directory where the commands are stored.

When I type commands like FLS, FLH, or FLD they all work ok & I get reports on whats in the Slots / Drives etc as you would expect but when I type in FCONFIG from the SDX command prompt I get SIO ERROR. Usually when I get SIO ERROR it indicates a Syntax Error / finger trouble on my part so typically mistyping maybe the command parameters format but from watching a YouTube video on using FN under SDX I didn't think that FCONFIG needed any parameters. Is there somethign obvious I'm doing wrong ?

Thanks for any help / advice offered.

FCONFIG was changed last year. The SSID field needed to be one byte bigger, and so the firmware was changed. You should upgrade to the latest version of the firmware, and use the version of FCONFIG that is on the fnc-tools.atr disk.

Yup that sorted it, thanks Thom
