iamscuba2
I recently obtained this wonderful piece of Atari history. It will display the visuals but only when the AUX cable is inserted about 10%. When the cable is fully installed the screen remains blank. Any thoughts on the necessary repairs? Video included. Thank you in advance! IMG_7488.MOV Edited January 31, 2023 by iamscuba2 added a picture

Any thoughts on the necessary repairs? Thoroughly clean the AUX jack with a good contact cleaner or Deoxit. Ditto the cable ends for the cable you're using. If the problem persists, the jack and / or its solder joints may be flaky. Either the jack will need to be replaced or the joints reflowed. See what a good cleaning does first, though.
+Stephen
Be CAREFUL when handling this. I've heard many stories of how sensitive these are to static or improper grounding.

I had a rack of eye candy electronics that I plugged my guitar signal into. I had a display that I would run the Video Music into while we played.
