I did notice a firmware update on my pluscart last night that I went ahead and did so I'm wondering if something got messed up in the lastest FW releases? Other games are working fine including the ACE demnos still so definitely seems to be the games. Specifically Load Runner's demo doesn't load as an example. AFAIK Load Runner is CDFJ, so it will not run on the PlusCart without being recompiled and without a CDFJ driver for the PlusCart. 7 minutes ago, -^CrossBow^- said: If this was already known about then I apologize, but the fact that they can be found in the plustcart online section seems odd if they didn't work? This was tested on a jr with both UNI RIOT and TIA chips in it. When I uploaded the files, I didn't remove the ones that don't run on the PlusCart, since PlusStore users can also run the ROMs through their shared folder on a PC with an emulator. +sramirez2008
@ZeroPage Homebrew Thank you for hosting another excellent AA HB Awards show. @Albert thank you for not only maintaining this site, but making/selling the physical games. I still don't know how you find the time/energy to do all of this and put on one of the most amazing exhibits at PRGE. My congratulations to all of the winners as well as, all of the nominees. This community wouldn't exist without the efforts of each and every one of you. These days all I buy are homebrews, so I'm thankful for all of you. 15

LANC3L0T
Many thanks to the ZeroPage Homebrew team for all their efforts in pulling off a splendid awards ceremony. There were so many amazing games!!! I enjoyed watching and hearing from many of the winning developers. Looking forward to voting on my favorite games next year (I don't think my account was mature enough to be eligible for voting). 1
+ZeroPage Homebrew
Phew, I think I'm now fully recovered from the 5th Annual Atari Awards! What a great event celebrating all the amazing games from the past year and it was a blast talking to all the talented developers on the event stream. 🙂I'm surprised at how smoothly it all went considering how much I was running around just before we went live. Congratulations to all the winners, nominees, everyone who worked on a game in the past year and a big shout out the thousands of members of the Atari homebrew community! I'm already looking forward to seeing what is in store for this upcoming year! See you on the ZPH stream soon! - James 8
8bitwidgets.com
Is there any kind of awards for accessories for the Atari? Hardware =D Never has Robotron 2084 or other dual joysticks games been more accessible now that these are available.. plus now devs could make new dual joystick games knowing there's a solid solution for it. I partnered with the publisher for "Robot Ron" for the Odyssey 2 is being made with one of the O2 couplers included with it later this month. Future homebrews for these systems could do the same here. New hardware is certainly not as plentiful as software each year. Maybe there could be an honorable mentions of new hardware that comes out each year.. not so much a contest as much a chronicle of each years new hardware options that come and go over the years. I intend to produce these for the foreseeable future, but i know some things pop up in limited supply and vanish, but they still made a mark on the community that year like any other game that gets recognized at the time.
