Assembly in console only Demo

Hi 

This is a demo of TI99/4A console only with a RXB showing what it can do, so this thread is for numerous CONSOLE only Assembly/XB demos.

Good stuff, Rich ... the speed difference in RND is evident with the RXB.

I wonder if you cassette cable or port has something wrong - seems unlikely two players are going to be bad.

What doesn't work about the cassette players?

 

If you are using the 3rd wire for remote control by the console....  These are usually wired backwards.

Don't use it.  Just press play , record , stop , ff, rewind  etc. manually.

Unfortunately I ONLY had this method of save and retrieval of my programs BITD.

Wow.  I never realized how easy I had it with my working remote line.  The struggle is real!

I always had good luck with the remote jack (I'm pretty sure 3 of 3 players have worked for me).

 the struggle isn't the remote line... It is the hrnnnnnnBZbzBZbzBZbz that seemed to last forever!

 

I had a radio shack deck, not only did the remote line not work, but it didn't have a counter!

 

I ended up getting a bunch of 5 and 10 minute tapes, so it wouldn't take so long to use both sides!

 

WOW, I am SO spoiled these days.
