Oz_Jad Posted February 16, 2023 Share Posted February 16, 2023 Hi all. Love the Atari 2600, so much so I refurbish and sell to other vintage gamers. I have refurbished many 2600's and have had very few issues doing so. I also install composite mods on most units as that seems to be more appealing. On a recent refurb I have an issue with a black rolling screen on power up. Audio us crisp and can be heard but the image is non existent. All IC's have been tested and power seems fine at the regulator. Any tips on what else the issue could be? I have obviously checked all soldering work and cannot find any issues. Any help would be appreciated. It is a PAL Light Sixer I am working with and have installed a composite mod (that has also been tested) Cheers and thanks.
