Arcadeshopper.com is out of the real iron tunnels of doom collection. sure load it off disk and save the game to cs1.. you can do that in classic99 or mame

Another way, besides outputting from the PC sound card and recording to tape (as mentioned above) is to use a tape-to-disj converter (CS1 is the most popular, but there are others, like x99tape or Dick Selus' tape reader/writer.) Usually, I (and presumably most other folks) use this to recover tape-stored data for emulator or TIPI use. Converting the modulated sound files into data files. But CS1, my preferred tool, also allows conversion in the other direction... writing TIFiles data files to WAV audio files. You can then play those back by any device... say, a portable media player... as if they were tapes. Or, you can do what I've done... almost finished now... and convert all your tape and disk files into TIFiles, load them up onto your TIPI device, or other modern local storage system... and access them that way. bradhig1
I can't use custom tunnels of doom games outside of outside of gamebase. Classic 99 won't let me set the disk they are or if I open it the emulator resets. It's due to the scripting in Classic 99 that happens when you select tunnels of doom from the built in cartridge list. I try to load custom games using user selected tunnels of doom cart I get disk error 6. I am using classic 99 qi399.27. Qi327 came with gamebase and the images work with it. bradhig1
I am using q399.063 and when I record to tape it doesn't output anything. I want to play daring adventures in K-mart and Doctor Who TOD games on my TI 99 4A

bradhig1
The problem I ran into was that some dsk images would work with one version of Classic 99 and not another version. Still need to get them on cassette. Been looking at PEB's on Ebay. Are there disk drives that plug into the expansion port on the TI99 4a? You would probably be happier with something like a nanoPEB, CF7+, or even a TIPI. They will be less expensive and likely more practical for your purposes, unless your purpose is to get into the old hardware. There are a few smaller disk drive systems which plug into the side, but they are also old hardware and not easy to get hands on.

bradhig1
that wave file won't copy right in google chrome or media player. TI 99 4a always stops a couple of blocks in.
