The author of these remix's has been helping me out with explanations of how his game modifications work. He's play tested what I have so far and couldn't find any differences in the gameplay. I couldn't get the his DK remix binary either, but he did give me a copy of the Christmas remix binary, since it is already out there. It's basically the same except for the graphics. Synthpopalooza used some two-tone mode sounds that don't seem to be supported on the HOKEY. Hopefully they will be supported eventually. PLEASE DON'T POST ABOUT THIS OUTSIDE OF ATARIAGE.
