What do you mean by exhibition game?  You can choose Head-to-Head or Team Game.

Do any of the options matter or special features matter?  Like Juice Mode, Powerups, or Hot Spots?

73 to 70

This game is a blast!  My only complaint vs the SNES version is that the crazy Jams are a little harder to get going.

I was controlling only one player the entire game, the other was the CPU.  I played around in practice mode and hit a button on the keypad to switch to a control method where you control whatever player is closest to the ball, which I greatly prefer, but there is NOTHING about it in the manual, which I find strange.   Does anyone know if there is a diagram of the control pad functions for this game anywhere?

@masematte feel free to play with the drone settings, time, etc. to try to boost your score.  This is an all-out high score dunk fest, no holds barred!

Not all homebrews are free unfortunately, but then again neither are the retail games like NBA jam.  They all had to be bought at some point.  I try to mix it up and *some* games are free, but most are not.  I try to keep it as egalitarian as possible, but if you don't have certain games (as I often don't for other HSCs) you either have to buy it or skip the round unfortunately.

How?!

- pick a good team (I use the San Antonio Spurs)

- I turned off tag mode where you switch control to the player closest to the ball) and my score jumped way up

- get as many powerups as you can, especially Turbo and Fire.

- make sure you are fully on the extra point circles before shooting if you’re going for them - they will flash if you are.

- if you have a player with good three point ability, it is worth taking a risk on high value bonus circles outside the three point line. Only 7-9 points, though, nothing less.

- make sure you’re swapping out injured players between quarters. If their injury gets over 5 it really starts to hurt their stamina and ability to make clutch shots.
