Harry Potter
I am sorry for not recycling an old thread here. I know people are getting pissed off at me for keeping starting new topics for the same stuff, but I couldn't find a recent post to which to add this information. I have on my sourceforge cc65 site many memory enhancements for different cc65 targets designed to increase the amount of memory that are available, including the use of Low memory to store extra code, hidden and far memory and cartridge configurations. I also have HiMem64, which allows you to create cc65 C code to run at $8000 or $C000. Add to this CBMSimpleIO and my optimization techniques online, and you can develop very effective code for small systems. The memory extensions are at c65 additions - Manage /memory cfgs at SourceForge.net, CBMSimpleIO at c65 additions - Manage /ui at SourceForge.net and the optimizations c65 additions - Manage Files at SourceForge.net. I have different versions of MadLib and a low-end version of my text adventure code at c65 additions - Manage /game at SourceForge.net. The code is called AdvSkelVic65--AdvSkel65 is buggy. These show how I create text applications for low-end 8-bit systems. Try them out!
